Promises Not Broken, But Changed

Filed under: Beading - Confessions of a Chantraphile — folkcat at 5:27 pm on Monday, September 12, 2005

I’ve been highly exhausted and stressed the past week, and it’s affected my blogging – and my crafting. You can read more about it – and my conclusions about it – here.

What’s the point of bringing that up on my beading blog? Simply put, I’ve had to conclude that my beading is at a level where it’s too much of a stretch to try to post about it 5 days a week. Since I’m most likely to put in one good beading session each week at best, posting once a week is probably more realistic.

So that’s the change I’m making to the promise – not every day Monday through Friday, but certainly once a week, you’ll find a new post here. More often if I happen to have more to say, but no guarantees.

Hopefully that will mean that what you do find here will be more worth reading. Think of it this way – before, my posts were like using a nice little piece of meat to make a watery broth that you’d have a little of each day. Now, I may be promising only one meal a week – but it should be a more filling one.

Tuesday is likely to be beading day, since it’s on Tuesday nights that the craft circle gathers here and I do my one good beadwork session for the week. So, watch around Wednesday or Thursday most weeks for a post about beading.

And maybe more often – who knows? It’s a minimum I’m promising, not a limit.

Thanks, as always, for listening.
