Ma! He’s Making Eyes At Me!*

I spent a little time the other day working on my wooden pear challenge piece, Pears Before Swine. Here’s what it looks like now:

It’s amazing how many degrees of weirdness were added to the project just by putting on these half-finished eyes! (Which, btw, are made of small pearls sort of brick-stitched into place along the peyote stitch row, and anchored by passing the thread through a black seed bead before going back through the pearl.)

That’s about it for today – not a lot to say, and not a lot of time for posting. Knitting Around at Panera tonight, and I think I may pick out some roving and bring the drop spindle…
