Freebie Friday’s Day Off

Filed under: Announcements,Contests,Daily Life — folkcat at 12:27 pm on Friday, September 28, 2007

I’m sorry to say that Freebie Friday is cancelled for this week. It should be back in full force next Friday.

I get migraines – not the painful ones, though. I will get a small headache, but the majority of my symptoms are the other neurological ones. Last night, while watching a little late night TV, I had the sudden flash of a migraine aura that left my vision blurred. This morning, things are still a bit out of focus, and I’m feeling a bit woozy and nauseous.

Best for me to take a day off, then, and let my head get back to normal. Please, everyone, don’t worry about me. Just have a great weekend, and I’ll see you on Monday.

Migraines are awful things. Rest and heal!

Sorry to hear about your migraine. I had a weird visual experience once where, after seeing some obnoxious flashing lights on a website, suddenly I had a “hole” in my vision–the whole center of my vision was just blank. It went on for an hour or two and then gradually cleared up. My doctor said it was a migraine. Fortunately, it didn’t involve nausea or excruciating head pain! Hope you feel better soon.

I get those too–hope you are safely ensconced in a dark and quiet room!

I was felled by a week long migraine last week, as I’m pretty sure I’ve already whined to you about! I hope you feel better quickly! Poor baby.

I hope the migraine went away quickly and that you’ve been able to enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I just saw THIS, and thought of you. Since I’m spinning, I’ve been thinking about a Weavette or the like to use up early yarn attempts, anyway, although the Purl Soho (I think) scarf looks scrumptious in lumpy bumpy yarn (as seen in someone’s pic on Ravelry, in a light, rustic yarn).

I hope the ratties are behaving! This week I discovered the most fantabulous chocolate strawberry lollipop, that I’m going to post about. Mmmmm. I’m sorry Panera discontinued one of your favorite treats!
