Sock update
Things are progressing steadily with Sock Experiment 2. At last report, I was working on the heel flap. I've now turned the heel, and have picked up the instep stitches to begin the first decrease round:

As The Heel Turns
The other major fiber event today is that I was able to sell some of the bead-stringing silk that I had left in inventory from the bead store yesterday, so I had a little extra cash. Naturally, I dropped into my LYS, The Woolery. Feeling pretty good about the future of my sock knitting, I decided to indulge in two additional color ways of Sockotta Yarn.

Waiting In The Wings
I can't wait to see how these turn out. I can guess that the one on the left will have some checkerboard stripes, but the one on the right is a mystery...will it be patches of color like Sock Experiment 1? Will it be stripes like Sock Experiment 2? Or will it be something altogether different? Stay tuned!
