Knit prosthetic breast aka Cotton Chenille Boob from Crystal Palace Yarns

I saw a reference to these handknit prosthetic breasts in the blog The Yarnpath, and it just sounded like the coolest thing in the world to me. I am among the fortunate who have not been personally touched by breast cancer, but I have known many women who are survivors, most of them through my bead store.

I wish I was still in touch with them. The concept that they could knit their own prosthetic breast - I think they'd love it. I have to see if I can find e-mail addresses for any of them!
