Today is the day the Groundhog pokes his head above the ground and tells us whether the winter is over or not. If he sees his shadow, back into his hole he goes, and we have six more weeks of snow and ice to look forward to!

We, of course, always hope for Groundhog's Day to be cloudy. At this point in the year, we've endured weeks of cold, dreary, gray days, and the beginning of February always seems to be the worst. What we need is Spring with a capital "S", and Sunshine, and pretty, pretty Pink Flowers! Like these...

*Yes, I know that technically these are chrysanthemums, and therefore an autumn flower - not spring. But it feels spring-like enough to make me feel good when I look at it on my own desktop this week, so I'm declaring that it's good enough for the purpose of lifting the winter blahs!
